As a leader in the metal supply industry, Industrial Metal Supply, also known as IMS, wanted to enter the retail and hobbyist customer market. This desire required a unique environment to encourage retail foot traffic. SignSource was able to bring their vision to fruition with our ability to fabricate out of the box. The extensive use of faux-finished aluminum that resembled Corten steel panels added authenticity to the design vision. Industrial aluminum grating was used as a contrasting finishing feature to the top of the building. The designer’s goal was attained by transforming a typical tilt-up concrete building into a customized retail space. In addition, an interior package of signs was provided to complete the retail store setting.
